About Aspira

What Aspira is

Aspira exists to help talented female racing drivers turn potential into professional careers. We guide drivers in making the right sporting and commercial decisions, and connect them with partners who believe in long-term growth.

The mission

To create more opportunities for women in motorsport, and to inspire the next generation to believe they belong in every part of the paddock: as a driver, an engineer, a mechanic, a strategist or a team principal.

The problem we saw

Same track, different odds

Motorsport is one of the only sports in the world where men and women compete directly against each other, on the same track, under the same rules. Yet women are still only 1.5% of licensed drivers globally. That is not because the talent is missing. It is because the path to the top was never built with women in mind.

Unlike most professional sports, a racing career is not funded by salaries or prize money. It is funded by sponsorship. That single fact makes sponsorship the gatekeeper of the entire sport: without the right backing a driver does not simply progress more slowly, she often cannot compete at all. Seats, testing days, coaching, equipment. All of it depends on commercial support.

For female drivers that gatekeeper has historically been harder to get past. Research into how they are perceived shows they are judged through a different lens than their male peers, with more attention paid to appearance and novelty than to results and technical skill. That framing quietly undermines a driver’s credibility with exactly the people who decide whether to back her. The consequence is that talented female drivers are nearly twice as likely to leave the sport within their first five years. Not for want of pace. The system around them did not hold them up.

What we do

We are a management company built specifically for female racing drivers, and the people behind it come from more than one direction: international business, marketing, partnerships, and experience earned both on and off the track. A racing career is won and lost in all of those places at once, which is why the team is built to cover all of them.

Every driver in the programme gets a comprehensive, tailored path forward: a clear development plan, the right combination of training, coaching and career management, and genuine commercial support to secure the partnerships that make competing possible in the first place.

What we do build is a place where our drivers feel at home. Somewhere to be at ease, to come together, and to help each other, not only with advice and support but with their partners too.

One championship gives a partner far less room behind the scenes than another. So a driver whose paddock has that room makes space in it for another driver’s partner. That is the sort of thing our drivers do for each other, and it is what lets a partnership here offer what a single seat cannot: one point of contact, and access to the whole of our grid.

    For drivers

Ambitious, talented female racing drivers ready to turn potential into a professional career, whatever class or championship they compete in. Karting, sports cars, open-wheel or endurance, the approach is the same: build the plan, provide the support, open the doors.

    For partners

Brands who want to be part of the shift happening in motorsport right now: a fanbase that is younger, more diverse and increasingly female, and a sport with more commercial momentum than it has ever had. Partnering with Aspira means backing a platform building the next generation of the sport, not sponsoring a single driver.

Our own team on track

Aspira does not only manage drivers. We are putting our own team on the grid. Aspira Racing is our own Porsche team, by MDM Motorsport: a competitive platform we control from the ground up, with the right car, the right support and the right environment to perform.

MDM maintain and transport the cars and provide the technical and operational backbone that lets our drivers focus purely on performance. They are one of the best teams in Porsche racing, and they stand behind our own.

The team will field two drivers, one of them female, in the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe. Beyond those two championships we are working towards endurance racing; how quickly that happens depends on the budget we are able to raise, which makes it a direct opportunity for partners.

What comes next

  • 01

    Dreams as destinations

Every driver brings her own ultimate goal. Rianna’s is to be the first Kiwi woman to race the 24 Hours of Le Mans. That is not a vague ambition to us, it is a destination: the classes she races, the experience she builds and the partnerships we secure are all chosen with it in mind.

  • 02

    Partnerships for the journey

We are not interested in one-off sponsorship deals. We build long-term partnerships that become part of a driver’s journey: partners who are there race after race, season after season.

  • 03

    A global fan community

We want to build a worldwide community around our drivers, where fans follow their journeys race by race, and dedicated events that bring those fans closer to the drivers and to Aspira itself.

  • 04

    The business club

The Aspira business clubs are for people who want to stand close to the sport rather than watch it from a distance: race weekend access, updates and footage through the season, events on and off track, and a network of like-minded people from around the world. It is also a creative way of putting the drivers to work together, and of raising budget for all of them at once rather than one seat at a time.
